SARAJEVO, November 27 (FENA) - Differences in legal frameworks and challenges in prosecuting war crimes and overcoming them to further cooperate in prosecuting war crimes cases were the topics discussed at today's regional meeting of prosecutors at a technical level in Sarajevo.
The meeting was organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Office of the Prosecutor of BiH in order to discuss regulations, standards and practices of the International Criminal Tribunal (IRMCT) and the cooperation of prosecutors in the region, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH stated.
The meeting was attended by officials of the International Resident Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT), the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office of Montenegro, the State Attorney's Office of the Republic of Croatia and the War Crimes Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Serbia.
