SREBRENICA, December 6 (FENA) – Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH, Ambassador Kathleen Kavalec, visited the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center today and paid tribute to the victims of Srebrenica genocide.
In addition, she visited the OSCE office in Srebrenica and met with representatives of religious communities in Srebrenica.
"I am here today to pay tribute to the victims of Srebrenica genocide. The memorial center is a reminder to all of us of the horrific tragedy that happened. My thoughts are with the victims and all those whose lives have been affected by these tragic events," Ambassador Kavalec said.
She also points out that the aim of the visit is to talk with representatives of the local government and the non-governmental sector.
"I'll meet some truly inspirational women," Kavalec said.
