SARAJEVO, December 9 (FENA) - From December 10 to December 12, the Skenderija Center in Sarajevo will host the 6th Fair on Trade, Agriculture and Crafts and the 43rd Consumer Goods Fair, which will feature the latest domestic technological and creative developments.
Both fairs have 237 registered participants.
The Public Enterprise Center of Skenderija director Amer Kapo said at a press conference that these fair events are part of the program to mark 50 years since Skenderija was founded.
"The guest of honor of the fair is the City of Konya (Republic of Turkey) and we can say that this fair is growing year by year. Among the participants of the fair are large companies like BH Telecom, as well as a number of small craftsmen. Visitors will find a rich offer of food, beverages, and handicrafts, preparative cosmetics, tools, fashion accessories and more. - said Kapo, adding that the opening hours of the fair are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and entrance is free of charge.
Šerif Patković of the FBiH Veterans' Cooperative Alliance emphasized good cooperation with the Skenderija Center in organizing the fair.
- Last year we independently organized the first fair of veterans' cooperatives in BiH and did not want to break that continuity. At the end of the year, as part of the Skenderija Trade Fair, our 12 veterans' cooperatives will exhibit their products together with the City of Konya. They are mostly cooperatives that carry out entrepreneurial activities from all over BiH and it is also part of the project that was realized when it comes to the FBiH Government - added Patković.
The fair is sponsored by the Ministry of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton, and a roundtable on the sustainability of agricultural production in BiH has been announced for tomorrow.
