ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, December 9 (FENA) - Nebojša Popović, the head of the Criminal Police Sector at the Istočno Sarajevo Police Department, said today that in the past 11 months, ten corruption offenses have been resolved, and material damage caused by corruption amounts to about 380,000 KM.
During the same period, eight reports on the crime of corruption were filed with the competent prosecutor's office.
Members of the Istočno Sarajevo Police Department launched a campaign called "Fighting Corruption" today in collaboration with representatives of the US Department of Justice (USDOJ/ICITAP).
The residents of Istočno Sarajevo were provided with promotional material containing information on the allegation of corruption, and they were also briefed on the procedures for reporting and prosecuting this crime.
