SARAJEVO, December 15 (FENA) - On the first day of the conference "Election Legislation Reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina", organized by the Council of Europe's School of Political Studies in Sarajevo, the participants highlighted the need to adopt new electoral legislation in BiH.

The school director and Council of Europe staff member Esad Mavrić told FENA that the idea of the organizers was not to impose solutions, but to provide a platform for conversation and encourage dialogue on the topic.

Almost all parliamentary parties supported this gathering, Mavrić added, announcing the sessions and participation of leaders and representatives of parliamentary parties and their representatives in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina at tomorrow's continuation of the conference.

In addition to domestic participants, including representatives of the BiH Central Election Commission, representatives of international organizations and institutions in the country were also invited to the conference.

"Given the current political situation and especially the lack of political dialogue, we consider this topic extremely important for strengthening political cooperation and stabilizing overall relations with the aim of continuing reform processes and overall democratization of society," said the organizers of the Council of Europe's School of Political Studies.

The conference takes place from December 14 to December 16.
