Komšić: By celebrating the holidays, we preserve the memory of our ancestors

SARAJEVO, December 20 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić extended congratulations to the President of the Jewish Community of BiH, Jakob Finci, and the Jewish people in BiH on the occasion of the holiday of Hanukkah.

“I extend my congratulations on the occasion of the feast of Hanukkah to you and all the Jews in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on behalf of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and myself.

By celebrating the holidays and nurturing our traditions, we preserve the memory of our ancestors, and proudly transfer those traditions to our future generations.

I hope the warmth and light that symbolize this significant holiday will bring progress to your homes and community. I wish you good health, to spend your holidays with your family and friends. Hanukkah lesimha!” said Komšić in his greetings.
