BANJA LUKA, December 22 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik claims one of the key facts is that the Reform Program does not prejudge the NATO membership and that is why the document is not called the Annual National Program.
"NATO is a serious organization and they have clear procedures and there are no insinuations. It was said directly, if you want to go further into integration, you need to submit an ANP. We are not submitting it,” Dodik told reporters in Banja Luka.
He dismissed allegations by the opposition, which at the BiH level could have rejected the ANP, but did not do so, adding that it was important for him what the National Assembly of RS and the public, not the opposition, would say about the BiH Reform Program.
He added that he was not able to write the document himself, but that the international community was there, as well as representatives of Croats and Bosniaks, who want NATO integration.
"What we did was we got that qualification that does not prejudge membership, means it will be put aside and thus we can be satisfied. It all depends on us and while we are in power, there will be no NATO integration, and if Mirko Šarović and Mladen Ivanić take the power, there will be NATO integration," Dodik said.
He is convinced that the appointment of the Council of Ministers of BiH would be completed tomorrow.
He also assured the press that the majority for the appointment of the Council of Ministers in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament is undisputed and that this would be confirmed when a vote is taken.
