Milorad Krunić indicted for war crimes in Sanski Most municipality

SARAJEVO, December 31 (FENA) - Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes has filed an indictment against Milorad Krunić, born in 1953 in Bosanski Milanovac, Sanski Most municipality, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia.

The accused is charged that, during the war in BiH in 1992, he acted contrary to the rules of international humanitarian law, as part of a broad and systematic attack by the Republika Srpska Army, members of militia and paramilitary formations directed against Bosniak and Croat civilians in the Sanski Most municipality, as a reserve police force member.

The accused is charged with Crimes against Humanity under Article 172 of the BiH Criminal Code.

The Prosecution intends to prove the allegations of the prosecution by calling 35 witnesses and expert witnesses, as well as enclosing over 250 pieces of material evidence, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH stated.
