SARAJEVO, January 9 (FENA) - President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović received today Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Haldun Koç. The two officials emphasized that the two friendly countries have very good cooperation, which can be enhanced in the future especially in the field of economy, SDA stated.
They also discussed the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the context of the formation of government and continuation of integration and reform processes.
Izetbegović stressed the importance of the Republic of Turkey's support for the construction of the Sarajevo-Belgrade motorway, which is an infrastructure project of regional importance. They discussed the need to speed up procedures in order to reach an agreement as soon as possible that will allow the construction of this motorway to begin, it is said in a statement.
