SIPA arrests Marko Trifković in connection to the killing of two police officers

SARAJEVO, January 10 (FENA) - Officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) today arrested one person suspected of multiple crimes in the Pale area, SIPA spokesman Luka Miladinovic told FENA.

The arrested person, initials M.T., is currently being held at the premises of SIPA and is under criminal investigation.

Subsequently, he will be transferred to the jurisdiction of other institutions.

The arrest was carried out in cooperation with police officers of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Internal Affairs (RS MoI).

According to Radiosarajevo.ba, SIPA members today arrested Marko Trifković, also known as Zizan, a longtime member of domestic auto mafia.

According to this news portal, unofficially, Trifkovic is linked to the October 2018 killings of Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinovic, police officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior. It is not yet known exactly what his possible role in the case was.

In addition to the connection to the case of the death of police officers, Trifković is also suspected of other offenses related to the operation of auto mafia, Radiosarajevo.ba reported.
