SARAJEVO, January 14 (FENA) – The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) will have a position on appointing Mladjen Božović as Minister of Human Rights and Refugees in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina by Thursday.

SDA Secretary-General Halid Genjac told this to reporters after a meeting of SDA representatives with members of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) represented by Zoran Tegeltija and Nebojša Radmanović.

Asked what was the problem with Mladjen Božović's appointment, Genjac briefly answered that the issue should be addressed in inter-party consultations.

He believes that meetings such as the one today are a necessary form of consultation between the parties, not only between the SDA and SNSD, and notes that a number of issues have been discussed for the next session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.

After the meeting, Zoran Tegeltija told reporters that he does not see a problem with the appointment of Mladjen Božović, and recalled the earlier agreement of government partners that the candidates who meet all the necessary conditions for appointment conducted by the SIPA and Central Election Commission should receive support.

Tegeltija also believes that today's meeting was successful, and following that, the next session of the House of Representatives should be held in a good atmosphere.
