SARAJEVO, January 15 (FENA) – Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Denis Zvizdić, after a session of the Collegium of that House in an extended composition, told reporters that the President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) caucus has requested to remove the item related to the confirmation of the appointment of the Minister for Human Rights and Refugees from the agenda of tomorrow's session of that House, i.e. to postpone it for the next session.
“We expect this item will be removed from the agenda in order to discuss it at the next session, which will be in early February, and until then we have enough time for additional and necessary adjustments in connection with this appointment,” Zvizdić said.
The confirmation of the appointment of the BiH Minister for Human Rights and Refugees was scheduled to be on the agenda of the session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly convened for tomorrow.
The Committee of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly for the preparation of the appointment the BiH Council of Ministers did not make a recommendation for endorsing Mladjen Božović as Minister of Human Rights and Refugees. The Committee’s recommendation is not binding for the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament.
