BANJA LUKA, January 19 (FENA) - BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik supports amendments to the BiH Election Law that as he says, "would give Serbs, Croats and Bosniaks a chance to elect their own representatives."

Dodik adds that it is the only way for "BiH to secure peace and stability and that any imposition of solutions onto the others has proved to be unacceptable."

Dodik, in a statement to Banja Luka journalists, said that the HDZ BiH President Dragan Čović was right when he asked for amendments to the BiH Election Law, "because none of the constituent peoples in BiH should be outvoted as was the case with the Croats."

The Dayton agreement, he said, "established one important principle and that is that BiH could exist only with the agreement of three nations and two entities, but that was desecrated by representatives of the international community and they did a lot of murky stuff".

He reiterated his position that the Law on Freedom of Religion in Montenegro was unacceptable because it allegedly discriminates against the Serbian Orthodox Church and its property, and that the demands for its abolition should be supported.
