Minister Košarac receives UNDP delegation

SARAJEVO, January 21 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Staša Košarac, today received a UNDP delegation led by Deputy Director for Europe and Central Asia, Agi Veres.

At the meeting, they discussed UNDP's cooperation with institutions in BiH. The delegation informed Minister Košarac that UNDP is currently implementing 15 projects in BiH under the jurisdiction of that ministry.

The interlocutors noted that there was a high level of cooperation, as well as the involvement of the Ministry and other levels of government in the implementation of UNDP projects in the field of environment, climate change and energy efficiency.

The need for cooperation in the implementation of projects in the segment of agriculture, tourism, and economy was also pointed out.

Minister Košarac informed the UNDP delegation that it was fully committed to international cooperation, including cooperation with UNDP, in order to create better conditions for economic growth in BiH, the BiH Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations said.
