SARAJEVO, January 24 (FENA) - In order to discover key factors in our country, Poslovne novine launched the "Fastest-Growing Companies" project three years ago, and the project explores reasons for the success of these companies, which are in collaboration with LRC BIS ranked according to different growth parameters.
Analytics have shown that these companies have continuously generated new jobs and thus have had a positive impact on the labor market and competitiveness in general. In addition to recording revenue and profit growth, fastest-growing companies have easily operated the local environment and operated in regional, European and global markets.
Last year, the entity agencies received more than 33.000 final accounts, which were considered in the ranking of companies, of which 1.320 singled out, an increase of 8.6 percent over the year, compared to a year before when 1.216 companies were listed.
According to the latest financial statements, the total revenue generated by all the fastest-growing companies in BiH in 2018 amounted to KM 13 billion, or 27.2 percent more than in the previous year.
These companies exported goods in the amount of KM 2.4 billion, an increase of 26.4 percent compared to 2017, and they account for more than a significant percentage of the BiH economy's total engaged workforce. In 2018, companies identified as fastest-growing employed 80.982 people and increased their number of employees by 13.9 percent over the previous year.
The top 10 fastest growing companies in BiH come from nine different backgrounds, with Sarajevo's Demus d.o.o. with 7.243 percent of Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR). The company is engaged in the business and other management consultancy business, and the second fastest growing company, Compass Trade d.o.o. Visoko operates in the same industry with 5.797 percent CAGR.
