SARAJEVO, January 29 (FENA) - Minister of Veterans' Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton (SC), Ismir Jusko (SBB), praised the work of the SC Government today, which according to him was one of the best governments so far, even though such words can cost him, he is ready to accept the consequences.
He said that there was no person from any political party he was in conflict with, and that he has been opening doors that were closed to many with an open mind and pure intent in his nine-year long career.
Minister Jusko said he did so when he was a municipal councilor, then a cantonal MP, then FBiH minister of interior, state minister, and now minister of veterans’ affairs of SC.
He pointed out that during the past 13 months, working with the SC Government, there was nothing that he asked for the veterans’ population, and that this was questionable for the SC ministers because, as he said, they believed him and "they recognized that my every request had a pure intention. "
“Political party leaders are not bosses for me and my colleagues. Citizens of the Sarajevo Canton are the ones we get salaries from. We owe them a responsibility,” Jusko said.
He added that in politics you come and go, disappear overnight, "but we all need to be aware of one fact, which is that one day we will return to the everyday life we came from, and we should look in the face of all citizens, and then if you don't have anything to hide you won't have problem with it; otherwise, there will be problems."
“So today I told the Assembly Speaker what is the truth, and everything else would be complete hypocrisy. As a person, I'm not a hypocrite. I just could not keep it in myself, and not share what I think with everyone,” Jusko emphasized.
“Knowing the party I belong to, SBB, we have absolutely never had a problem saying what we think. SBB President Fahrudin Radončić himself endorsed this kind of stance by saying “if you have a need to say something that is the truth and does not contradict the truth, there is no need to refrain. I was free, because of the public and the veteran population I have been representing for 13 months and the support of my colleagues, I am ready to pay for saying this today without a second thought,” concluded in his statement the SC Minister of Veterans Affairs Ismir Jusko.
