SARAJEVO, January 30 (FENA) - BiH Justice Minister Josip Grubeša said at a press conference after the session of the BiH Council of Ministers that Bill on Amendments to the Law on Violations was defined, defining the affiliation of fines.

It is noted that lower levels of government have already legally defined this.

“Our law did not specify these provisions. We have now refined, harmonized and forwarded this amendment to parliamentary procedure in the ordinary course,” said Minister Grubeša.

The Council of Ministers of BiH also adopted the Proposal of the Law on Salaries and Other Compensation in the Court and Prosecutorial Institutions at the BiH level and submitted it to the parliamentary procedure in the ordinary course.

Grubeša recalled that this was one of the Constitutional Court's judgments, noting that he had always struggled to implement the judgments, not only of other courts, but also of the Constitutional Court.

The Director of the Directorate for European Integration briefed the Council of Ministers of BiH on activities regarding the approximation of BiH regulations and our practices to the European Union, and BiH Minister of Civil Affairs Ankica Gudeljević briefed the Council of Ministers of BiH on coronavirus information.

Minister Grubeša, responding to a journalist's question, said that today he asked the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH to "finally include a strategy for processing war crimes on the agenda of the Council of Ministers".

“At this session, I asked the Chairman that the strategy for processing war crimes to be included as soon as possible. The only obstacle was that it was proposed in 2018. As all materials from earlier years, except 2019, were pulled back into the line, this also happened with the strategy, so this technical part of the second submission from the Ministry to the General Secretariat will determine the dynamics of putting this strategy on the agenda of the BiH Council of Ministers,” explained Grubeša.
