BANJA LUKA, January 31 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the entity of Republika Srpska (RS) Radovan Višković stated today that he would not allow the EUFOR to visit the school in Mrkonjić Grad in connection to a recent donation by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, as “they have no mandate to do so”.

“My answers is no – We know very well what their mission is. They can control the military and other structures here, but donations to schools in computers and books cannot be a subject of checks by EUFOR,” Višković said.

He also called on Serbs and Bosniaks in Srebrenica to “ease the tensions”, following an incident at First Elementary School when photos of pupils glorifying the Chetniks at the school premises appeared on social media.

He said that these children, "unsupervised, took a photo of themselves, not thinking how it would be interpreted in public, and no politicization should be made of it."

"We have now gone to the other extreme that these children are receiving threats, and parents are under pressure," Višković said, adding that the pupils have been sanctioned and that it should all end here and now, not allowing things to go in a different direction.

He also said that the Government of RS would not allow the closure of the Banja Luka Airport referring to the condition that it must urgently repair the runway.

“The government is ready to invest additional funds to eliminate the problems after we have reached 100,000 passengers annually,” Višković told reporters in Banja Luka, expecting that certain projects would be realized by the new convocation of the Council of Ministers.
