SARAJEVO, January 31 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency member Šefik Džaferović received in an inaugural visit the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of India to BiH, Kumar Tuhin.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the current situation in the two countries. They also concluded that bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and India are very good, with no open questions.
It was emphasized that there is room for improving relations, especially in the field of economics and culture.
He expressed satisfaction with the earlier investments of Indian companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ambassador Tuhin made clear the Embassy's position that investors are obliged to comply with BiH legislation. He conveyed the interest of investors from India for new investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in the IT sector.
BiH Presidency member Džaferović emphasized friendly relations between the two countries and expressed willingness to further improve them. He stressed the importance of previous Indian investments in BiH and welcomed the interest in new investments, the BiH Presidency said.
