Three victims of war identified today at Tuzla Commemoration Center

SARAJEVO, January 31 (FENA) - Three victims of the past war have been identified at the Tuzla Commemoration Center today. These are victims of Bosniak nationality who were exhumed from the mass grave at Ramin grob in Zvronik, while the remains of one person were taken over from the neighboring Republic of Croatia - the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH stated today.

The identity of the victims was determined on the basis of DNA analysis, and today their family members have officially confirmed their identity.

Idriz (Meho) Dautović, born in 1963 near Zvornik, was officially identified today. He went missing in May 1992, and his remains were exhumed in 1998 from the mass grave Ramin grob in Zvornik municipality.

Family members also identified Mahmut (Redžo) Miralemović, born in 1930 in Križevci. He disappeared in May 1992, and his remains were also exhumed from the mass grave at Ramin grob in Zvornik.

Emir (Alija) Ćemanović, born in 1964 in Derventa, was also identified today. He disappeared in July 1992, and his remains were exhumed in 2016 in Osijek, where he was buried as unidentified person.

Shortly after the exhumation, it was determined that he was a citizen of our country and his body was taken over from neighboring Croatia,” the statement said.
