SARAJEVO, February 3 (FENA) - Confirmation of the appointment of the BiH Minister of Human Rights and Refugees will not be on the agenda of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly scheduled for Tuesday, February 4.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Denis Zvizdić confirmed this to the press today after the session of the extended collegium of the House of Representatives.

“No agreement has been reached yet and it will not be on the agenda of tomorrow's session. We all expect some agreement to be reached on previously agreed principles, for this person to be a non-partisan candidate with a respectable reputation in the field of expertise and the area for which he or she will be in charge, such as the human rights issues,” said Zvizdić.

He explained that no agreement on the proposed candidate has been reached and discussions would continue to reach a solution for which full consensus would be reached.

“So, these are future activities that should lead to a name or some kind of consensus within the parliamentary majority parties in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, so that they can put that item on the agenda and finalize the matter,” Zvizdić said.

He informed the press that they have agreed on a calendar of activities to hold the February and March sessions.

He announced that, after tomorrow's session of the House of Representatives, the next one would be held on February 26. Thereafter, sessions are planned for March 11 and 25.

Zvizdić noted that a parliamentary thematic session on March 11 will begin with a debate on the state of the judiciary and a regular session would resume after the thematic session.

As for the session announced for tomorrow, he said that all the items that were on the agenda remain.

“As for the certain items, we have positive opinions, and for some the committees gave negative opinions. But everything will be debated by the House of Representatives tomorrow,” Zvizdić said.

Asked by journalists about the ANP, that is, the BiH Reform Program, and comments in the media in this regard, Zvizdić replied that "at this moment, the views expressed on a daily basis by politicians in BiH on the status of our country on our path of NATO integration are not trustworthy.”

“The only position of merit or a report is the one published on the official website of NATO. I think that everyone should accept this as a reality, as the attitude of NATO in relation to NATO integration of BiH. Everything else is politicizing,” Zvizdić underlined.
