Džaferović receives UN Resident Coordinator Sinanoglu in a farewell visit

SARAJEVO, February 4 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović received in a farewell visit the UN Resident Coordinator in BiH Sezin Sinanoglu.

The interlocutors assessed that cooperation between the state institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the UN mission has been extremely successful.

Great progress has been made in achieving the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Sinanoglu emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina can serve as an example to other countries in the region.

The BiH Presidency member Džaferović expressed his commitment to continue cooperation between the BiH institutions and the UN mission in all segments.

He thanked Sinanoglu for her personal involvement and selfless efforts to contribute to a greater UN presence in BiH, as well as to the realization of the programs and projects implemented by this organization with the BiH institutions.

Džaferović wished Sinanoglu success in pursuing her future diplomatic career, the BiH Presidency said.
