Radončić - Nedera: UNDP will allocate USD 40 million for projects in BiH

SARAJEVO, February 10 (FENA) - The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) will allocate USD 40 million for projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina this year.

UNDP Resident Representative Steliana Nedera confirmed it today during a meeting in Sarajevo with Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fahrudin Radončić.

One of the important joint projects being implemented in BiH is the implementation of the Integrated Border Management Strategy, which was adopted by the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina ten days ago, at the proposal of the BiH Ministry of Security.

They also discussed the project on prevention of illegal arms trafficking aimed at reducing the risk of these criminal activities.

At the same time, Nedera also briefed Radončić on USD 4.8 million disaster risk reduction project being implemented in several municipalities in BiH, the BiH Ministry of Security stated.
