Chairman Zvizdić receives newly-appointed Greek Ambassador Papandreou

SARAJEVO, February 13 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH), Denis Zvizdić, received the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Greece to our country, Dimitrios Papandreou, and briefed him on the current economic and political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the talks, Chairman Zvizdić thanked for his support to Bosnia and Herzegovina's foreign policy goals and emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation in the fields of cultural, political and economic cooperation.

They agreed that relations between the countries were good and friendly, but that there was room for improvement of cooperation.

Ambassador Papandreou said that Greece is a great friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina and stressed the importance of improving the cooperation between the two countries through the organization of business forums that will enable better cooperation and connecting business-oriented individuals.

At the end of the meeting, Chairman Zvizdić wished Ambassador Papandreou success in his job in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the PR Office of PA BiH said.
