BANJA LUKA, February 13 (FENA) - Former BiH Presidency member and honorary president of the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) Mladen Ivanić said today that one of the solutions, following a decision of the BiH Constitutional Court on the RS Law on Agricultural Land, is that the disputed land is defined as municipal property, not the RS.
He said that a new law with similar content and a different name may be passed.
However, he stressed that it was the responsibility of the RS authorities to respond to such a decision and it was necessary to consider what was stated therein.
“PDP carefully supported the conclusions of yesterday's meeting of officials and representatives of RS parliamentary parties. We have many reasons to be careful when it comes to SNSD, as in the past certain things have been misused. We will not make a problem, but we will be very careful and follow what is happening,” Ivanić told reporters in Banja Luka.
He pointed out that one of the reasons for this view was the fact that the document on the principles of formation of government at the BiH level did not raise the issue of the Constitutional Court of BiH.
"The Reform Program, signed by Milorad Dodik, has legalized the BiH Constitutional Court," he said.
He pointed out that the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH on the Law on Agricultural Land in RS was unnecessary and came at a bad time.
“This is a continuation of practices that are detrimental to relations throughout BiH. The Constitutional Court of BiH defines itself as the creator of the Constitution, not as an interpreter,” said Ivanić.
