Radončić and Sattler discuss security cooperation and migrant crisis challenges

SARAJEVO, February 21 (FENA) - Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fahrudin Radončić received today Head of the EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina and EU Special Representative, Ambassador Johann Sattler.

The two officials discussed security cooperation, with a focus on addressing the many challenges of the migrant crisis.

Radončić informed Ambassador Sattler about the current situation in that segment and the measures taken by the Ministry, reiterating that greater financial and material support is needed to equip security agencies.

The meeting was also attended by Nino Hartl, who was appointed by the EU as Advisor on Migration Management and who presented a work plan for the coming period.

The participant of the meeting also discussed the establishment of a contact point in BiH for cooperation with the European Police Office (EUROPOL), stated the BiH Ministry of Security.
