BANJA LUKA, February 23 (FENA) - Justice Movement, a political party largely made up of the informal group of citizens "Justice for David", aims to defeat the current regime and will have candidates for election councilors in Banja Luka, President of this newly formed party Ozren Perduv said yesterday.
The candidate for a mayor, he says, is yet to be discussed, and they want an agreement with the opposition to be a joint candidate.
The founding assembly of the Justice Movement was held last December, but they were formally registered at the Banja Luka court few days ago, and Perduv claims the party will be different because they do not want to make "rotten compromise or engage in demagogy and populism".
He said that they do not want to deal with past, but focus on future.
Perduv reminded that today is exactly 700 days since the first gathering in Banja Luka Square requesting to find out the truth about the suffering of Banja Luka young man David Dragičević.
"We want to politically articulate our struggle, that lasts for two years, because, unfortunately, nothing can be resolved here without politics," he added at a press conference symbolically held at the mouth of Crkvena River in Vrbas in Banja Luka, at the site where David Dragičević's lifeless body was found.
He claims that those who stand with the young man's family are being persecuted, but that he will continue fighting on three "fronts" as an informal group of citizens, the Citizens' Association "Road to Justice" and as a political organization.
