SARAJEVO, February 27 (FENA) - Tomorrow's event that will commence in Munich begins the marking of Independence Day of BiH in 25 cities of the European Union, reminding of the genocide in Srebrenica and many other crimes against Bosniaks, publicist, and coordinator of the marking of Independence Day of BiH in the diaspora Adis Tanović told FENA.
An exhibition of photographs will take place and a documentary film will be screened depicting the suffering of Bosniaks in many cities and towns after declaring independence.
- The second event will be held in cooperation with the Consulate of BiH in Stuttgart and the Muslim community after which programs in Cologne, Hamburg, Odense, Malmo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Motala, Helsingborg, Wiesbaden will take place. The Independence Day of BiH will be officially marked at the Mannheim City Hall, with the presence of many successful Bosniaks, the mayor, and representatives of the Mannheim City Administration - says Tanović.
The "Bosnian House", which will be the largest Bosniak and Islamic center in Scandinavia, will be opened in Orebro on March 7 at the marking of the Independence Day. Similar events are planned to take place in Geneva and Zurich. A one-month program of the marking of Independence Day will be concluded with events in German cities Penzberg and Rosenheim.
The partner of the project and the sponsor of the program is the City Administration of Sarajevo, and the upcoming events will be an opportunity for the City of Sarajevo to present a number of successfully implemented and upcoming projects, with the aim of better promotion of the city.
