Turković-Radman: BiH is high on the agenda of Croatian presidency of EU Council

PRAGUE / SARAJEVO, February 27 (FENA) - Deputy Chairperson of the BiH Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bisera Turković met with Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman on the sidelines of a meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Visegrad Group and of the Western Balkans, which is being held in Prague.

Turković and Radman stressed that bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia are good and friendly, despite several open issues, the BiH Foreign Ministry announced.

BiH Foreign Minister thanked Croatia for its support to BiH in the EU integration process, while Radman stressed that BiH is high on the agenda of the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and announced continued support for BiH's European path.

Croatian Foreign Minister informed Minister Turković on preparations for the European Union and Western Balkans Summit, which will be held in Zagreb in May. The interlocutors also exchanged views on the new negotiation methodology for the accession of the Western Balkan countries to the European Union.

They also discussed the problem of the construction of a nuclear waste landfill on Trgovska Gora site and activities related to the opening of the Consulate General of BiH in the Republic of Croatia, based in Rijeka.
