SARAJEVO, March 3 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Dzaferović received today Turkish Ambassador Haldun Koç and discussed the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the recent situation with the blockade of state institutions.
The BiH Presidency member Džaferović reiterated his view that blockades and blackmail are unacceptable. He expressed expectation that the members of the Peace Implementation Council, including Turkey, would take concrete steps and make clear to the leaders of such politics that has caused the latest crisis that such a model of behavior was unacceptable.
Ambassador Koç briefed the BiH Presidency member on the latest developments in Syrian town of Idlib, the circumstances under which 36 Turkish soldiers were killed, as well as the views of the Republic of Turkey concerning the stability of the region.
The Turkish Ambassador also conveyed views on the humanitarian and migrant crisis.
“They jointly assessed that the migrant crisis is a global problem, that it should be addressed by the European Union, all European countries, and that the Republic of Turkey deserves a clear and concrete support in this regard,” said the BiH Presidency.
The Presidency member Džaferović expressed condolences to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish people for the deaths of 36 soldiers.
