SARAJEVO, March 9 (FENA) - Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fahrudin Radončić, received today Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to BiH Mahmoud Heidari in Sarajevo. The officials emphasized that BiH and Iran have traditionally good relations and expressed hope that it will continue in the future.
Talking about economic relations, Minister Radončić emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina follows the foreign policy of the European Union, including the EU restraint measures against IR Iran, i.e. economic and financial sanctions related to the export of certain goods.
Minister Radončić emphasized that BiH, for its own economic and diplomatic interests, as well as geo-strategic circumstances, cannot jeopardize its national interests and strategic partnerships and expects adequate understanding of the Embassy of IR Iran in Sarajevo and its staff in that regard, the BiH Ministry of Security announced.
