Svetozar Pudarić dies at the age of 61 in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, March 9 (FENA) - A prominent member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) of BiH and former secretary general of that party, Svetozar Pudarić, passed away at the age of 61 in Sarajevo, SDP confirmed for FENA.

Pudarić graduated in archeology in 1982 at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. He has been engaged in politics since 1976 when he joined the League of Communists of Yugoslavia. After the dissolution of the League, he continued his political career in the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which he held various positions, and at the last congress of that party he was one of the candidates for president.

Pudarić has performed other public functions as in the City of Sarajevo Assembly, he has been a delegate in the Serb Caucus in the FBiH House of Peoples and an MP in the FBiH House of Representatives.
