SARAJEVO, March 11 (FENA) - The decision of the Crisis Staff of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina suspends classes in primary and secondary schools, as well as at the universities in the Federation of BiH. Under the same decision all theater and cinema shows, as well as sports activities and other public gatherings are canceled for a period of two weeks as of tomorrow, (Thursday, March 12).

The FBiH Minister of Health Vjekoslav Mandić said at a press conference today that the epidemiological situation in the FBiH is still stable but also requires the maximum responsibility of each individual.

The decision to suspend classes will be formally announced during the day to all schools and universities. These measures are taken following the coronavirus situation in Europe as well as in the region.

Persons arriving from Germany, France, Spain (BiH and foreign nationals) have now been ordered to stay home in isolation upon their entry in BiH for the next 14 days.

In the FBiH, 384 persons are under medical supervision, 32 have been tested, of whom three persons tested positive to coronavirus.

On Tuesday, two more cases positive to coronavirus in the FBiH have been confirmed. These are two members of the family of a middle-aged female, who was the first to be infected. They all stayed in Italy and returned to BiH by car on March 5. These two persons have no symptoms, they are in home isolation.

A total of seven cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed so far in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
