SARAJEVO, March 11 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina Haldun Koç visited the Federal News Agency (FENA) today to discuss with General Manager Elmir Huremović the work and development plans of the Agency, as well as cooperation between FENA and the Turkish Embassy in BiH.
Ambassador Koç said that FENA is a source of credible, objective and timely news.
“We talked about good cooperation we have had with FENA so far, which we think is a good foundation and a good reason for this cooperation to be confirmed and enhanced in the future. We have also learned about FENA's development plans for the future and expressed our wish that these plans be realized and that FENA's successful work will continue in the future,” said Ambassador Koç.
FENA’s General Manager Huremović said that FENA has had very successful cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in BiH for many years.
“Turkey is friendly country and we are very pleased that the Turkish Embassy recognizes the importance and role of FENA in media space and in BiH society in general. We look forward to continuing and enahncing this cooperation, and in this regard, we have also made some proposals to Ambassador Koç. I introduced him to FENA's development projects, and we believe that there is also an opportunity for cooperation with the Turkish Embassy in the mutual interest,” said Huremović.
