SARAJEVO, March 21 (FENA) - The FBiH Civil Protection Service Crisis Staff (FBiH CPS CS) held an emergency electronic session today and issued an order to impose a ban on the movement of citizens in the Federation of BiH between 6pm and 5am.

This order was preceded by a recommendation of the FBiH Minister of the Interior, Aljoša Čampara, to introduce a restraining order, at the request of FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, which was sent to Jelka Miličević, FBiH Deputy Prime Minister and FBiH CPS CS Commander and Fahrudin Solak, Director of the FBiH Civil Protection Administration (FUCZ) to the Chief of the FBiH CPS CS.

As this recommendation states, among other things, after a thorough assessment of the overall security situation in the territory of the FBiH, especially given the increase in the number of coronavirus infected (COVID-19), as well as the frequent movement of migrants in the evening and at night, for protection and in the best interest of citizens, it is proposed to introduce a ban on movement (curfew) for all citizens in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the mentioned period.

The prohibition of movement takes effect tomorrow March 22, 2020 at 6 pm and will continue until further notice.
