Džaferović sends a message of solidarity to Croatian President Milanović

SARAJEVO, March 22 (FENA) - The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, sent a message of solidarity to the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, over the earthquake that hit Zagreb.

"We have anxiously received the news of the earthquake that hit Zagreb. The citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and I are myself in thoughts and prayers are with you and the citizens of Croatia," the message said.

Džaferović expressed hope that there would be no human casualties and that doctors would be able to save the life of a 15-year-old that was seriously injured in the earthquake.

"Together, we are facing the unprecedented challenge posed by the coronavirus pandemic. You are facing additional difficulties now because of the earthquake. I believe that we will be able to overcome all adversity and that after that, we will be even stronger and have even more solidarity towards one another. Please convey our messages of support to the injured citizens with wishes for a speedy recovery,” wrote the BiH Presidency Chairman Šefik Džaferović in his message.
