Novalić praises companies that started manufacturing medical equipment

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, March 23 (FENA) - The FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić has praised all companies and institutions that have activated their resources and made themselves available to fight coronavirus over the past few days and stressed that they can count on the support of the FBiH Government.

"Last night, I contacted professors and students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Medical Faculty in Zenica. They are currently making a 3D printed visors, which is one of the main safeguards for physicians, who are at the forefront of defending the lives of our citizens. The FBiH government helped them with the production materials, then we have to mention OBI Sarajevo and the Zenica Development Agency, which provided them with a 3D printer.

We also have to mention that the company HAS Robotics from Brčko also started using 3D printers to produce protective masks intended primarily for medical staff.

Prevent company in Goražde focused its activities solely on the production of protective masks and protective clothing needed for doctors.

Tuzla Dita has started mass production of disinfectants and has already delivered 20 tons of various disinfectants to the Tuzla Canton Commodity Reserve Directorate.

The Clinical Center in Tuzla has provided one of its respirators, in order to try to mass-produce it. We are aware that it will not be easy, but the BiH companies have managed to produce miracles even in more difficult conditions. We must do everything in our power. I may have left someone out, but I will mention, in the coming days, anyone who represents a positive example. As a whole society, we should make ourselves available to such projects, because ultimately, our destiny will depend most on our own production power," concluded Prime Minister Novalić.
