SARAJEVO, March 23 (FENA) – Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović received Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH, Margret Uebber.
The officials discussed the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Germany, related to the coronavirus pandemic.
They agreed that the pandemic of the coronavirus is a global challenge, which can only be answered through joint action and solidarity.
It has been jointly assessed that the authorities at all levels in Bosnia and Herzegovina have taken decisive and appropriate measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
They also discussed the possibilities of assistance from Germany and the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the procurement of medical equipment and protective equipment needed to fight the spread of the pandemic.
BiH Presidency Chairman Džaferović thanked Germany and German Chancellor Angela Merkel for all their assistance to our country so far, and wished the Chancellor, who is in self-isolation, good health, the BiH Presidency announced.
