SARAJEVO, March 25 (FENA) - The Director of the Federal Department for Inspection Affairs Anis Ajdinović said today that the FBiH sanitary inspectors at the 15 border crossings and at the Sarajevo airport have recorded fewer passengers entering Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past few days.
He stated that there was a greater concentration of passengers on the border crossing Orašje, Bosanski Šamac and Kamenska and the traffic of goods increased in Bijača, Šamac, and Orašje.
- A total of 14,821 isolation orders were issued for people who entered BiH, and 157 official records have been made against persons who violated isolation orders - Ajdinović said.
He added that several people reported that they did not violate isolation measures but that there were communication disagreements with the officers, which will be further examined.
Ajdinović said that besides passenger control, the inspectors are performing controls of the health, quality, and security of all goods entering BiH.
- A significant amount of goods is entering the country and citizens must know that there will be no shortage of food - said Ajdinović.
Ajdinović said that FBiH market inspectors who supervise the decision to freeze prices have so far issued 65 misdemeanor warrants with fines totaling 142.450 KM.
