SARAJEVO, March 27 (FENA) - BiH Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Staša Košarac, has requested that the BiH Administration for Plant Health Protection (PHPO), as the administrative organization of the line ministry, in coordination with the BiH Indirect Taxation Authority, facilitate the smooth transport of goods for which required ''D'' permit through border crossings, which are determined by the Decision of the Council of Ministers of BiH for the transport of goods in road traffic in transit through BiH.
“In coordination with the governments of the Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH, we have assessed that it is necessary to define border crossings for the transport of goods requiring a 'D' license. These are planting materials, fertilizers and other raw materials needed for the upcoming spring sowing,” said Minister Košarac.
He noted that the list of vital products that will facilitate trade between CEFTA countries includes, inter alia, fertilizers, seeds and planting material.
In coordination with the competent institutions at all levels of government, we proposed to the CEFTA Secretariat a list of vital products to which we have included essential food, medicines and medical devices, as well as veterinary medicines and preparations, fertilizers, seeds and planting material, as well as food for animals, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH stated.
