SARAJEVO, March 28 (FENA) - The last passenger plane is scheduled to land at the Sarajevo International Airport on Sunday, March 29, before the temporary closure of the passenger transport at the airport, which enters into force on Monday, March 30 at 06.00 hrs.
This will be a Wizz Air flight Budapest-Sarajevo, after which a return flight is planned for that destination, confirmed to FENA the spokeswoman of the Sarajevo International Airport, Sanja Bagarić.
The BiH Council of Ministers has decided on the temporary closure of the Sarajevo International Airport for passenger transport as of Monday 30 March.
In addition to the Sarajevo Airport, the Decision also applies to airports in Mostar, Banja Luka and Tuzla.
"Passengers are recommended to contact airlines for more detailed information on how to exercise their rights," Bagarić said.
She stressed that the Sarajevo International Airport remains open for humanitarian flights and cargo transport.
