Musa: 147 new samples tested in the last 24 hours, 21 cases confirmed

SARAJEVO, March 28 (FENA) - In the last 24 hours, 147 new samples have been tested and 21 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in BiH, stated this evening a member of the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health and Head of the Epidemiology Department of the Public Health Institute, Sanjin Musa.

Musa points out that nine new cases have been confirmed in the Tuzla Canton, six in the West Herzegovina Canton, three in the Sarajevo Canton, two in the Una-Sana and one in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

"737 people have been tested in the Federation of BiH so far, with 95 confirmed cases of coronavirus. Most cases have been registered in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (33), 17 in the West Herzegovina Canton, 13 in the Sarajevo Canton, nine in the Tuzla Canton, eight each in the Zenica-Doboj and the Una-Sana Cantons eight, five in the Podrinje Canton, while in there was only one registered case each in the Posavina and Central Bosnia Canton. Five deaths have also been confirmed," Musa said.

He added that the new clusters have been confirmed in the last 24 hours in the Tuzla Canton, where a case of coronavirus infection was confirmed at the healthcare institution, and two new cases were imported in the Tuzla Canton and the West Herzegovina Canton, while new cases that were not part of earlier clusters have been detected in the Una-Sana Canton.
