Last plane takes off from Sarajevo Airport before its temporary closure

SARAJEVO, March 29 (FENA) - The last passenger plane before the temporary closure of the Sarajevo International Airport, which enters into force on Monday, March 30 at 6 a.m., landed this morning. It is a Wizz Air flight Budapest-Sarajevo, after which a return flight is planned for that destination, it was confirmed for FENA from the Sarajevo International Airport.

The BiH Council of Ministers has decided on the temporary closure of the Sarajevo International Airport for passenger transport as of Monday 30 March.

In addition to the Sarajevo Airport, the Decision also applies to airports in Mostar, Banja Luka and Tuzla.

She stressed that the Sarajevo International Airport remains open for humanitarian flights and cargo transport.
