TRAVNIK, March 31 (FENA) - Given that two new clusters of coronavirus have emerged in the area of Central Bosnia Canton, the director of the cantonal Public Health Institute, Sead Karakaš, has assessed the epidemiological situation as "unsafe".
"The fact that yesterday we had two positive cases, that is two different clusters in two areas, indicates that the infection is spreading and that it is necessary to take very intensive measures. One cluster is related to Tuzla, one to Zenica and Novi Travnik, while the other is completely unknown to us and we are exploring it. There are indications that this is a new cluster, related to a person who came from the Netherlands," Karakaš said.
According to him, a search is being conducted for the persons contacted by the infected persons, and the course of action will be determined after they have test results of 21 samples sent from the canton.
