MOSTAR, March 31 (FENA) - In the last 24 hours, ten new cases of Covid-19 infection have been confirmed in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton - five in Mostar, four in Čitluk and one in Konjic.
"We do not have precise data on the five newly infected in the Mostar area and doctors are investigating whether they can be classified into any of the existing clusters. It is likely that we will not be able to classify some of them into existing clusters, which further complicates the current situation," said Darko Juka, an adviser to the Prime Minister of the Canton, at a press conference.
So far, 54 people have been tested positive for the new coronavirus in the HNC area. Currently, four people are placed in the isolation ward of the Infectious Diseases Clinic at the University Clinical Hospital Mostar, three are on a respirator in serious condition and one is receiving oxygen.
Juka said that at a coordination meeting between the Government and the cantonal Civil Protection Service Crisis Staff held on Tuesday, the situation in Čitluk was discussed, where the first cases of infection were registered last weekend, and currently, about 60 people are in quarantine.
