Čavara: It would be difficult to secure conditions for holding local elections

SARAJEVO, April 1 (FENA) - President of the Federation of BiH, Marinko Čavara says it will be difficult to secure conditions for holding local elections if the coronavirus epidemic persists in the coming months.

"We have five months until the election, the Central Election Commission (CEC BiH) must call elections and set deadlines.

All political parties must agree on whether to postpone elections without waging new wars because of all the challenges ahead," Čavara told 'Večernji list'.

Local elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina are planned for the autumn of this year.
