SARAJEVO, April 1 (FENA) - Head of the Sarajevo Canton Crisis Staff Aida Pilav said today at a joint press conference of the Sarajevo Canton Government and the Crisis Staff of SC that 49 citizens were tested yesterday, four of them positive. Thus, the number of coronavirus cases in the Sarajevo Canton is 28.
The imposed measure of self-isolation was issued for 1.918 persons.
So far, 321 people have been tested in the SC and 17 mobile teams are continuously working on tests that have been determined by medical and epidemiological indications.
Pilav said that the mobile teams did not find the person who should be tested at the home address during their visit yesterday, and emphasized that citizens need to responsible because all health resources are in operation.
“Five people were hospitalized. They are patients with moderate symptoms, no one is connected to a respirator and doctors are satisfied with their condition,” Pilav said.
According to her, there are enough laboratory tests and one contingent arrived on Saturday and no room for concern. She recommended that everyone wear masks and gloves, as citizens are protecting themselves and others.
