SARAJEVO, April 1 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Šefik Džaferović spoke today with Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Johann Sattler.
One of the topics they discussed was the urgent implementation of procedures in the institutions of BiH, so that our country would formally accede to the joint procurement agreement of the European Union of medical equipment needed to fight coronaviruses, especially respirators.
The interlocutors agreed that all political controversy should be set-aside at this time, in order to facilitate, through the cooperation of all actors, a more effective response to the coronavirus pandemic and the economic consequences that the pandemic would cause.
In this context, Ambassador Sattler emphasized the joint statement of the BiH Presidency members and emphasized that the response of the institutions in BiH at all levels, as well as the citizens themselves, has been extremely good so far.
Chairman Džaferović emphasized the importance of the engagement and support that the European Union provides to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the BiH Presidency announced.
