SARAJEVO, April 2 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA), Dragan Čović, spoke today with Turkish Ambassador to BiH Haldun Koç about the coronavirus pandemic, exchanging information and views on health care measures and economic stability, with particular reference to willingness of the BiH system to maintain stability at the height of the pandemic that has affected countries around the world.
At the same time, officials commented on the restrictive measures imposed, the coronavirus curve in BiH, and bilateral relations.
Čović expressed gratitude to Ambassador Koç, on behalf of the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina and his own behalf, for providing protective medical equipment to help organizations that are at the front of fight against coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in order to protect health and security of residents.
The interlocutors emphasized friendly relations between the two countries, as well as the need to strengthen communications after the pandemic in order to strengthen economic relations and cooperation through solidarity, the PR Office of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH announced.
