SARAJEVO, April 2 (FENA) - Young people are contributing to the spread of coronavirus because 25 to 30 percent of young people tend to be infected with the virus, said a member of the FBiH Ministry of Health Crisis Staff, Goran Čerkez.

Commenting on the temporary ban on the movement of young people at the time of the pandemic and dissatisfaction with such a decision, he said at a press conference today that a large number of young people who were infected had no symptoms but have spread the virus throughout the community.

"We constantly monitor the situation on the ground, and after the schools temporarily closed, we had a full city of young people. Not one of the recommendations has been fully obeyed," Čerkez stressed.

He says they are aware of the concerns of the parents and that they regularly consider the issue and ways to mitigate it.

"We need to know that we are all in danger and that our basic human right is threatened, the right to health. The measures that have been adopted are purely measures to protect health of the population and these are not measures of repression," said Čerkez.
